The Big Red Marching Machine is one of the biggest organizations at Port Huron High School. There are 200+ students involved. Every summer the band spends a week at band camp, marching for 8-10 hours a day, and learning the half time show for the next school year. PH hosts a marching competition called MSBOA at the end of every football season. Last year, they received a "1", which is the best mark that you can get. The marching band plays at concerts, Varsity football games, parades, assemblies, and more.
Daniel Griffith is the band director, accompanied by Colleen Lum, the Senior Drum Major, Abbey Bates, the Assistant Drum Major, and Mike Schoettle the Junior Drum Major.
